Are sugar substitutes used in low-calorie colas harmful to health

In order to reduce calories, high-sweetness sweeteners such as aspartame, cyclamate, acesulfame, neotame, saccharin and sucralose are used instead of sucrose in low-calorie cola. China approved it for many kinds of food in 1992.

In 2002, FDA in the United States allowed it to be used in all foods and beverages. The European Union formally approved its application in 2010.
